Questions
- Is Free really free?
- Yes. Record, edit and export as many guides as you like, for as long as you like. Free exports PDF, Markdown, GIF, JSON and images, and includes your own document designs.
- Does Thoth need the internet?
- No. It records, edits and exports offline, and Pro is unlocked with a license key that’s checked on your PC. It only goes online for things you turn on: your AI provider, or publishing to a service you connect.
- Where are my guides stored?
- On your PC, in your Windows user folder. Nothing is uploaded unless you publish it.
- Can I bring my guides from Folge?
- Yes. Import .flgg files, or read your guides straight from Folge’s library on the same PC.
- How do renewals work?
- Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. Each license key lasts until your paid period ends plus two weeks, and every renewal adds a fresh key to your account and your inbox. Cancel any time from your account; Pro stays on until the period you paid for ends.
- What about teams?
- Team plans with shared workspaces, seats and private help centers are planned. Until then, each person uses their own license.
