The situation
You’re teaching fifteen reception staff the new invoicing screen on Thursday. You want something to hand out, something to present, and something they can practice on afterwards.
What you end up with: A one-step-per-page handout, a deck, a click-through practice demo and a short video, all from one recording.

Record with teaching in mind#
- 1
Use sample data
Record in a training copy, or with made-up patients and invoices. Everything you type will be in the guide.
- 2
Slow down on the hard parts
Add a Tip note where people usually slip, and a Warning before the step that can’t be undone. Notes show up in every format.
- 3
Write the speaker script into the descriptions
A step’s description becomes the PowerPoint speaker notes and what the video voiceover reads. Write what you will *say*, in a sentence or two.
Make each piece#
| For | Export | Settings that matter |
|---|---|---|
| The handout | The Training handout design puts each step on its own page, with a tick box. Turn on Completion checkboxes. Print it. (Free) | |
| The session | PowerPoint | One slide per step, with the description as speaker notes. Keep the Agenda slide on. (Pro) |
| Practice | Interactive demo | People click the highlighted spot on each screenshot. Share the one .html file. (Pro) |
| Revision | Video | Zoom on each click, Captions on, and a voiceover from a Windows voice. Share it with people who missed the session. (Pro) |
Before you share, check the preview of each format: slides and video are rendered from the same screenshots, so a blur you add once applies everywhere.
