Thoth has four places you spend time: the library (all your guides), the editor (one guide), the screenshot editor (one picture), and Settings. Ctrl+K opens a list of every command and {?} shows the keyboard shortcuts, so if you can’t find something, press Ctrl+K and type what you want.
The library#

The library’s header has Import (guide files, Word, PDF or a screen recording, a backup, or Folge), Help-center site, New folder and New guide. Tick several guides to move, tag, find and replace in, export or delete them together.
The editor#
The outline on the left lists the steps; the page on the right is the guide. The header has the buttons you use most:

| Undo and redo | Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y. Structural edits (moving, deleting) and text each have their own history. |
| AI | Improve the text of steps, write titles and descriptions from screenshots, write the introduction, translate. Use AI to write and improve steps. |
| Guide Me | Walk someone through the guide in the real app. Guide Me. |
| Copy | Copy the guide with screenshots (for email and documents), as text, or as Markdown. Ctrl+Shift+C |
| Export | Files and publishing. Ctrl+E |
| Refresh screenshots | Retake the screenshots in the current version of the app. Refresh screenshots. |
| Check this guide | A score for missing titles, empty steps, the introduction and private information left in screenshots. |
| Find and replace | Change a word across the guide. Ctrl+H |
| Version history | Look back and restore. Version history. |
| Guide settings | Placeholders for this guide, zoom on clicks in exports, owner and review schedule, and AI instructions for this guide. |
| Screenshot, Capture steps | Add one screenshot, or record steps. |
The screenshot editor#
Open it from a step with E or Edit image…. It has 19 tools for arrows, text, blur, crop and more, each with a one-letter key. The screenshot editor lists them all.
