A demo lets someone practice a task without the real system. Each step shows its screenshot with a pulsing highlight where you clicked. They click the highlighted spot, press Next, or use the arrow keys, and the demo moves to the next screenshot.

Check the guide
The demo uses the whole screenshot, so make sure each step’s click marker is where it should be, and that private details are blurred.
- 2
Export
Choose Export → Interactive demo. The Preview size menu shows how it looks on different screens.
- 3
Share the file
The result is a single
.htmlfile with everything inside it. Open it in a browser, attach it, or put it on an intranet. It needs no internet connection and no Thoth.
- If a step has choices, the demo shows them as buttons, and Back follows the path the person took.
- A help-center site can include a demo for each guide.
- To walk someone through the real app instead of pictures, use Guide Me.
