Publishing puts a guide where your team already looks for answers, and remembers where, so publishing again updates the same page instead of making a copy.

Publish a guide#
- 1
Connect the service once
Open Settings → Integrations and set up the destination. Each service needs a different key: NinjaOne, Confluence, Notion and WordPress each have a page with the exact steps. Keys and passwords are stored encrypted on your PC.
- 2
Open Export and choose the destination
In Export, the Publish to section lists the services you have connected. Choose one.
- 3
Choose where it goes
Pick the space, parent page, folder or organization the service asks for, and the file settings.
- 4
Publish
Thoth uploads the guide with its screenshots, then shows a link. The link is saved with the guide.
| Service | What arrives | Publishing again |
|---|---|---|
| NinjaOne | By default a PDF with every screenshot (or Word), into the global Knowledge Base or one organization’s, in the folder you pick. Text-only articles are available too. | A new upload replaces the old one, and the old one is archived, not deleted. |
| Confluence Cloud | A native page with headings, numbered steps, notes and attached screenshots. | Updates the same page; its history stays in Confluence. |
| Notion | A page of real blocks, with screenshots uploaded to Notion. | Replaces the page’s content and keeps its link and comments. |
| WordPress | A page or post, as a draft by default, with screenshots in the media library. | Updates the same page or post. |
Many guides at once#
Tick guides in the library, choose Export, pick a connected service and choose Publish. Guides you’ve published before are updated in place. See presets and batch export.
Replace a NinjaOne document that Thoth didn’t create#
You can take over a document that’s already in NinjaOne:
- 1
Choose Export → NinjaOne → Choose existing document…
Browse the global knowledge base or an organization, and pick the document.
- 2
Check the target
The dialog shows exactly which document you’re about to replace. Tick the confirmation and choose Replace document. The choice is good for 15 minutes.
- 3
What happens
An article is updated in place. A PDF or Word file can’t be edited in place, so Thoth uploads the new file, waits for NinjaOne to report it ready, re-checks the original, and then archives the original; you can restore it from NinjaOne’s archive. The link may change.
